9/11 Memorial Museum - National September 11 Memorial Museum

NYC 9/11 Museum Provides Free Access to Many Employees

Employees of organizations in the New York City area may be provided free access to The 9/11 Memorial Museum through their sponsorship of the Museum

The 9/11 Memorial Museum in Downtown NYC is dedicated to the depiction of the WTC Twin Towers and its surrounding area before, after and during the 9/11 attacks that occurred in 2001. The museum also covers the World Trade Center bombing that occurred in 1993. The Museum relies on steep entrance fees and lucrative sponsorship fees to keep operations going day-to-day.

Many large organizations in the New York City area have sponsored the 9/11 Memorial Museum and in return the museum provides them, and their employees and their families, with free access to the attraction. Below is the partial list of companies whose employees can get free access to the museum, depending on their current sponsorship level.

At the bronze level, which is the very lowest level of sponsorship, the corporate benefit is that employees can, at the very least, get walk-up admission without a reservation, but will still have to wait in the regular line.

At the silver level, complimentary museum tickets are provided and an expedited entry via the museum member line is allowed.

At the gold level, complimentary museum tickets are provided and premium tours with a museum expert are given. Sometimes the museum curator will provide the tour.

All levels are granted other benefits like exclusive use of the event and corporate meeting-room space, 10% percent discount in the museum store, 20% discount in the museum cafe, Invitations to attend exhibition openings, public programs, and other special events that the museum puts on. The museum also provides some engagement opportunities for corporate employee sponsors.
